Event Ground Rules

1. No bullying or harrassing people: this include but not limited to threats, motions, verbal or physical attacks.
2. Be mindful of other peoples cosplays
3. No glomping, tackling, rough housing, or wrestling.
4. No stealing
5. You must watch over your own items. (We had a man trying to steal phones last year that was not part of our group. We caught him and got the cops involved thankfully)
6. Be respectful to people not in cosplay as well as others in cosplay. On this day we out number the normal civilians in the park. We want to make sure we all stay welcomed for years to come.
7. Be mindful of Photographers taking photos so you do not walk in front of them
8. No littering. We will have trash bag available please use them.
9. Wear sun screen (nothing higher then spf 50 cause its just a waste of money past 50)
10. No climbing the trees
11. stay off the Gazeebo unless you are core staff, or getting something for core staff(this is due to supplies and such being stored for later events and prize)
12. Follow the rules they are for your safety
13. If you are approached by a cop or ranger COMPLY AND LISTEN to them, tell them where the main hosts or call our security over so we can deal with it.

14. We do not allow the solicitation of services, free or other wise, on our event pages. You may inform people that you are offering something but by no means are you to offer the service with pricing present nor are you to use our event page to book your appointments. This both a buisness and saftey disclaimer as we cannot be held liable for the actions of others. 

FOODZ N' STUFF

1. Food is NOT supplied
2. If you bring something to share properly and CLEARLY label the ingredients
3. Bring your own food
4. Bring your own water plus extra.
5. Bring a blanket to sit on
6. Bring your own shade (no tents)

PHOTOGRAPHY

1. Photos are welcome in the park but please ask the people you wish to photograph first. As photographing people who dont want to be even after they say no can be harassment, and even against the law in some cases.
2. If you are planning a professional photo-shoot do it AWAY from the group. Do all your planning and payment before the day of the picnic. We are not liable for any issue that can occur and we wish to be fully excluded from the exchange.
3. No up skirts.
4. Be mindful of people around you so you don't get in their way of taking pictures.

COSPLAY

1. PG Event. Keep it covered.
2. Seal any and All body paint or wear none.(probably sweat it off anyways)
3. Dress for the weather.
4. Foot wear is a must.
5. No large props
6. No working projectiles
7. No Working water shooters.
8. No water balloons

PETS/ANIMALS

1. No pets allowed this is for safety of everyone including the animal
2. Service animals must be properly leashed or harnessed with proper tags showing.
3. Service animals are NOT to be in cosplay
4. Bring extra water for your animal. 

VENDORS POLICY

 

1. Vendors will be selected before the event through our application system.

2. No work that is inappropriate, racy, or offensive will be allowed in the vicinity of the event.

3. No bootleg merchandise.

4. At any point in time hosts reserve the right to shut you down for breaking policy.

5. Please Comply with the requests of your hosts. They are there to help you.

6.) The sale of food is prohibited at this event.

7.) All vendors are required to go through the applcation process and will have to present a valid certificate of taxation for their buisness when prompted. There are no exemptions from this rule.

8.) Offical Vendors will have badges! Anyone attempting to sell at the event without a badge is not permitted to sell and should be reported to event staff immediately. This is for the safety of our attendees.

9.) Vendors will set up a designated area that will be determind by staff.

10.) Applications submitted before the opening date and after the closing date will be disregaurded.

11.) Vendors will be required to check in with the hosts before the event starts.

PUNISHMENTS

1. you will be given a warning based on the severity of the issue.
2. We will only warn you up to three time
3. you will be asked to leave the event pending warnings or severity of the issue(s)
4. you can be banned from certain events in correlation to the picnic pending severity of issue(s)
5. you will be banned and removed from the New England Cosplay Community page and Event page. Pending severity of issue(s)
6. We take safety and harassment very seriously and we will not hesitate to remove safety issues from the event for others safety.

DEATH MATCH
1.LISTEN TO YOUR MC they are there to help you!
2. DO NOT go on to the staged area until you are called.
3. Be mindful of other peoples cosplays
4. This is a "play fight" game, do not actually hit other people.
5. 1 hour before the game all participants will be called to an area for set up. You will be notified of that time and where in the acceptance email.

COSPLAY CONTEST
1. Cosplays only
2. No Bought cosplays.
3. Must be lined up at cosplay judging time. You will be notified of the time in the acceptance letter.
4. YOU will be judged in 1-10 scale on accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship
5. You will have people touching your cosplay.

VOLUNTEERS
1. You need to show up 1 hour before picnic for a run down of whats going on.
2. You must follow the rules and uphold the rules.
3. Must report any issues that may occur during the day to help us keep everyone safe.
4. You are the face of this event, your actions will speak loudly about the event so remember to be respectful, and be a good example of what we really are.
5. keep an eye out for Cops or park rangers that approach the group, try to intercept them from out guests and please comply with them. Tell them where the main hosts are and escort them to us so any issues can be resolved quickly and peacefully.
